After 17 months of waiting, “Mad Men” is FINALLY back for their fifth season airing this Sunday, March 25 at 9PM EST! As you know, “Mad Men” themed parties are popping up everywhere and Ultimat Vodka would like to help fans host their own parties this Sunday with some tips and perfect 60’s themed cocktails.
Below find tips on entertaining and how to concoct your very own “Mad Men” themed Ultimat Vodka cocktails.
ULTIMAT BLOODY MARY
2 oz Ultimat Vodka
8 oz fresh tomato juice
Worcestershire sauce to taste
hot pepper sauce to taste
dash of black pepper for garnish
1 stalk of celery for garnish
Combine Ultimat Vodka with tomato juice over ice in a mixing glass. Add Worcestershire sauce and hot pepper sauce to taste. After icing, mix with rolling motions and strain into a highball glass. Garnish with a celery stalk and ground pepper.
ULTIMAT VODKA GIMLET
1-2 oz Ultimat vodka
3-4 oz lime juice
3-4 lime slices
Pour Ultimat Vodka and lime juice into mixing glass. Shake and strain into martini glass. Add 3 to 4 slices of lime.
ULTIMAT CLASSIC MARTINI
1-2 oz Ultimat Vodka
3 lime squeezes
1 oz simple syrup
lime corkscrew for garnish
Salt the rim of a martini glass. Combine the ingredients in a mixing glass with ice. Shake vigorously and strain into a martini glass. Garnish with a lime corkscrew.
2 oz Ultimat Vodka
Fresh squeezed orange juice
Pour Ultimat Vodka and fresh orange juice into cocktail glass and stir. Add orange wedge.
INGREDIENTS: 3-4 oz Ultimat Vodka 3-4 oz of sweet vermouth 1 dash of aromatic bitters 1 Maraschino cherry METHOD: Pour bitters, liquors over ice in mixing glass. Stir and strain into martini glass. Garnish with a Maraschino cherry.
-Dress the part: Men can wear their favorite suit, fedora, or part their hair with polish. Women can wear their favorite retro cocktail dresses and curl their hair while applying red lipstick.
