NYLON + Volcom Celebrate the August Denim Issue Party with Olivia Wilde at Mondrian LA

Sunset Blvd. + trendy hotel + celebs + fashion + flowing cocktails = one sec…ummm, yup, it equals a good time.

Last night, Wednesday, July 27, 2011, NYLON MAGAZINE took over the Mondrian Hotel on Sunset Blvd, in Los Angeles, for another one of their notorious bashes.

NYLON Editor in Chief, Marvin Scott Jarrett & Publisher Jaclynn Jarrett, along with Volcom and Kanon Organic Vodka, celebrated the August 2011 Denim Issue with host & cover star Olivia Wilde. DJ Lindsay Luv got the party started while DJ Adam 12 spun his beats throughout the night.

The gorgeous crowd, delicious menu, and refreshing Kanon cocktails made for the perfect LA summer night, and NYLON always does it right.

It was also a big night for Campaign Happiness, as Olivia Wilde announced her involvement in this charitable organization for the first time. This charity organization, which was co-founded by Olivia and Barbara Burchfield, plans to paint the world with action, mindfulness, and positivity.

One of the Kanon cocktails that sure made a splash was ‘Old Blue Eyes’…

Made with 2 parts Kanon Organic Vodka, 1/2 part fresh lemon juice, 10 blueberries, and tonic water.

Lightly crush the blueberries in a cocktail glass, add Kanon Vodka and lemon juice, stir, top with ice and tonic water.
