New York – DONNA KARAN hosted a private luncheon on Sunday, February 3rd 2013 to mark the premiere screening of the short film “Haven’t We Met Before.“ The film, commissioned by DONNA KARAN, serves to embrace and honor the power of a woman’s legs in celebration of the recent launch of the Donna Karan Hosiery Evolution Collection. Directed by Oscar winning actress ANJELICA HUSTON, the film is based on a romantic interlude between two lovers played by FELICITY JONES and JACK DAVENPORT.
This private luncheon hosted the premiere screening of “Haven’t We Met Before” followed by cocktails, brunch, and a Q&A with the cast which was moderated by ANDRÉ LEON TALLEY.

To celebrate the launch of Donna Karan Evolution, a technological breakthrough in hosiery that works as “a day spa for your legs”, Donna Karan Hosiery has commissioned a new short film that embraces and celebrates a woman’s legs titled “Haven’t We Met Before.” Directed by Oscar winning actress ANJELICA HUSTON and produced by Katrina Pavlos of IN-House Series, the film is based on a romantic interlude between two lovers played by FELICITY JONES and JACK DAVENPORT. Playful and enticing, ‘Haven’t We Met Before’ is a tale of a man and a woman who are tangled in the finer details of allurement, where every word, every look, every laugh, and every brush of the knee becomes a moment to savor. The film begins by following Felicity as she gets ready for the evening ahead. Her every moment taken in care and attention, applying her lipstick, slipping on her hosiery, a quiet feeling of excitement rising when she thinks of what might come next. Every step of the evening becomes a lasting memory, or perhaps it was always fantasy… the viewer is left to decide. The film short is peppered with leading New York insider cameos including VALERIE BOSTER, NELL REBOWE and MARTIN LOWE, and filmed at The Surrey Hotel located on Manhattan’s Upper East Side.
