
New York – On Thursday night, GREY GOOSE Vodka toasted the millenials who have defied expectations with Mic.com at the inaugural Mic50 ceremony in New York City. At this year’s inaugural Mic50, Mic.com and GREY GOOSE vodka recognized emerging leaders who represent the best of the next generation and inspire with their work to issue change. At last night’s celebration, honorees and guests commemorated their notable achievements while enjoying GREY GOOSE cocktails and an engaging performance from musician Theophilus London.
The event began at Marquee in New York with Mic50 honorees walking the blue carpet, including YouTube star and former Disney actress Monique Coleman, Severin Hacker, founder of Duolingo, Chris Altchek, founder of Mic.com and YouTube star Laci Green. Theophilus London, the performer of the evening, was the last to arrive, but made an entrance with his statement-making outfit and fun poses on the carpet.
Once inside, attendees sipped on GREY GOOSE cocktails, including the popular smoky GREY GOOSE Vanguard, made with GREY GOOSE Vodka, Benedictine, Mezcal, Hibiscus Tea Flower, Pineapple, Lemon, and a Thyme garnish. Guests also enjoyed the GREY GOOSE Le Fizz with GREY GOOSE, St Germain, Lime, and Soda, the perfect celebratory drink to raise a glass to the inspiring honorees of the evening.
After the cocktail hour, Mic.com founders Chris Altchek and Jake Horowitz welcomed the crowd, highlighting some of the honorees and thanking everyone for attending. Theophilus London then took the stage for an exciting performance, where he got the crowd dancing and singing along. He performed some of his best hits, including “All Day”, and after recognizing the Mic50 honorees for their impressive work, invited some of the audience on stage to join in. Guests loved his enthusiastic dance moves infectious energy.
