Perez Hilton’s ‘One Night in Austin’ at SXSW

Austin, TX – Famed blogger and music enthusiast Perez Hilton returned to SXSW this year with the sixth installment of his musical showcase, Perez Hilton’s “One Night In Austin.” This year’s party took place at one of Austin’s premier concert venues, Austin Music Hall.

Since its debut, Perez Hilton has taken “One Night In…” across the globe with events in New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, Toronto, and London. Artists that have performed throughout the series have included: Lady Gaga, Snoop Dogg, Courtney Love, Katy Perry, Timbaland, Miguel, Kanye West, Kimbra, Ed Sheeran, B.O.B and N.E.R.D., to name a few.

Heartthrob Zac Efron made a solo appearance backstage on Saturday night. The Paperboy star was seen popping Tic Tacs to freshen his breath before hitting on a few scantily clad ladies in VIP. Before leaving, Efron bumped into Pete Wentz, sans girlfriend Meagan Camper, and caught up with the Fall Out Boy at the Strongbow bar about his surprise performance that evening. Wentz was in good spirits and definitely humbled – he complimented Perez to the crowd, saying the host “knew his music” and he felt “extremely honored to be the main act for the evening.”
