Celebrity Chef Kerry Simon’s LA Market Restaurant, located on the lobby level of the hotel, is celebrating Halloween by transforming their famed sweet treat filled Junk Food Platter to a sweet and spooky Junk Food Platter – Simon’s Spooky Sweets Junk Food Platter. The spooky candy wonderland includes orange and purple coconut snowballs, bat and mummy cake pops, pumpkin-shaped Rice Krispies treats, frosted brownies with worms, candy corn and caramel corn parfait, Fruit Loop treats, and chocolate chip cookies. Simon’s Spooky Sweets Junk Food Platter ($15) is perfect for sharing and is available from October 1-31, 2012.

JW Marriott Los Angeles L.A. LIVE’s sophisticated cocktail lounge, The Mixing Room, is offering a Trick-or-Treat Cocktail Menu featuring nostalgic Halloween flavors including candy corn and pumpkin. The Trick-or-Treat Cocktail Menu includes the ‘Candy Corn Martini’ with house made candy corn infused vodka, orange liqueur, lemon, egg white, and candy corn; ‘Great Pumpkin’ with house-infused cinnamon and cardamom Buffalo Traced bourbon; ‘Devil’s Old Fashioned’ with Plymouth gin, sweet and dry vermouth, fresh orange juice, Grand Marnier, and a dash of bitters; ‘Bloody Margarita’ with Cazadores Reposado, Cointreau, pomegranate juice, and simple syrup; and the ‘Black Widow’ with Chambord, vodka, triple sec, lemon juice, pomegranate juice, and black licorice strings.
