Los Angeles – Last night at The Chateau Marmont, Mandy Moore, Jaime King, Eva Amurri Martino, Jessica Lowndes and other stylish Angelenos joined Clos du Bois Winemaker Gary Sitton to launch Clos du Bois Rouge, a new red blend from the Sonoma winery. Bar Marmont was turned into Paris for the evening for the Moulin-Rouge themed bash featuring Crème de la Crepe, a made to order crepe stand, French cuisine, images of Marie Antoinette and Napoleon on a carnival-like cut-out board for guests to get their picture taken and French house music spun by DJ Mathieu Schreyer.
While guests enjoyed sampling Clos du Bois Rouge for the first time paired with sweet and savory crepes, the room was filled with energy created by DJ Mathieu Schreyer and was abuzz with chatter about Prince Harry’s nudity scandal. Eva Amurri Martino commented that it’s sad that Prince Harry isn’t able to go to Las Vegas without being followed, photographed and scrutinized, while Jessica Lowndes commented that everyone has gone to Vegas and had some fun and what happens in Vegas should definitely stay there!
Jaime King dropped by the party in between shooting a new episode of Hart of Dixie, where she has been spending 16-17 hours per day on set. She wore a jaw-dropping Jason Wu red dress and relaxed on a couch, enjoying her time off before heading back to work.
Eva Amurri Martino, in a Vince Camuto dress and Dannijo accessories, enjoyed a girls night out while her husband was working out of town. She was overheard saying that absence definitely makes the heart grow fonder, and that while her husband usually travels for half the week she misses him and counts down the days until he returns.
Mandy Moore loved the Clos du Bois Rouge and carefully listened to the winemaker, Gary Sitton, talk about the winemaking process. After the event Mandy went to the garden at Chateau Marmont and was seated across the room from her old-flame Zach Braff.
Jessica Lowndes was excited to talk about filming an episode of 90210 with Olympic hottie Ryan Lochte; she said it was an absolute blast, and was overheard giving some new season spoilers.
The evening ended with guests chowing down on nutella and strawberry crepes and downing glasses of Clos du Bois Rouge punch, a recipe created by Bar Marmont bartender Francois Vera to celebrate the launch of Clos du Bois Rouge.
