_____
A Starry Ambiance:
The best part about entertaining in the summer is doing it outdoors! Create a sparkling ambiance worthy of any Hollywood event by stringing some mini lights along outdoor patio railings and trees.
___
Color theme:
No party is complete without a theme, and in this case were talking color! No matter what the occasion for your summer get together, always keep a color theme throughout the party. This gives a chic and fun presentation to your fete and will make your guests take notice of your true hosting skills. Don’t forget to match the décor using any of the colors found in Seagram’s Escapes.
___
Drinks on display:
Drinks are always a crowd favorite at a party, so it’s key to make them cold and easily accessible. Take buckets (following your given color or theme), fill them with ice and add different flavored beverages to each and match them to your party décor! Seagram’s Escapes has a large assortment of vibrant flavors and colors such as Calypso Colada and Classic Lime Margarita
___
Tables:
Covering an old outdoor table with an affordable table cloth is as easy as 1-2-3. You can find affordable table cloths at different discount stores that will transform any table from dull to chic. Everyone loves a good cover up.
___
A sweet touch:
No party is complete without dessert, and no dessert is more summer than apple pie. Head to your local grocery store and pick up mini, frozen pie tarts that you can fill with your favorite apple pie recipe. Individual serving pies make for simple clean up and plenty of room for seconds.
___
Think mini:
Warmer weather means fewer clothes and even smaller bites. Serve your guests buffet style so they can pick and choose as they like. Offer bite size portions so they can have a little or a lot, whichever they prefer. On a hot summer day it’s easier to take and go so, you can still mingle without finding seating to eat a large and messy meal.
___
Mixed drinks:
While everyone loves a mixed drink, the many steps typically involved to create them can take away from moments spent with family and friends. Take ready to drink alcoholic flavors like those from Seagram’s Escapes and mix them with tequila and vodka for an easy breezy cocktail. You can even add berry skerries made from blueberries, strawberries and raspberries for a colorful and fun presentation.
___
Shoo fly:
There’s nothing worse than when your delicious cocktails also attract every bug in the neighborhood. To avoid these uninvited guests, simply top your drink with a cupcake liner and punch a hole for a straw. Not only will it keep the bugs at bay, but you’ll add a colorful touch to your drinks.
___
Summer decadence, adult-only desserts:
Infuse your favorite desserts with a versatile flavored alcohol, like those from Seagram’s Escapes, for a delicious, adult-only indulgence.
___
No beach? No problem:
To bring the beach home for your summer fete, use large beach towels as tablecloths and decorate the table with sea shells, sand and votive candles. For an added treat, you can serve your own Seagram’s Escapes flavored snow cones.

___

And now for the TIPSINESS:

Margarita Poached Pears: Serves 4
4 bosc pears, peeled, bottoms cut off
1 cup fresh squeezed lemon juice
2 cups water
2 12oz cans of Seagram’s Escapes Classic Lime Margarita
1 large lime, zested

Add liquid and lime zest to a large pot and bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce to a simmer and gently place pears in poaching liquid and simmer on low for one hour, partially covered, turning the pears every couple of minutes to make sure they absorb the color evenly. The pears should just be tender (test with skewer). Remove from poaching liquid and let cool. Continue to cook down liquid until a syrup like consistency. Serve in frosted martini glasses and drizzle poaching liquid over.
