Launch of ‘The Bar’ & Summer Launch of ‘AVA Lounge Rooftop’ at the Dream Hotel New York

On Wednesday, May 30, Dream New York introduced New York City to The Bar; a trendy new bar on the first floor of the luxurious hotel. Wednesday night also marked the summer launch of AVA Lounge Rooftop; the penthouse lounge that sits atop the Dream and offers panoramic views of New York City’s famed skyline.

Billed as “a visual dreamscape from lobby to rooftop”, the event featured “dream-inspired cocktails from Liquid Lab NYC“: The Dreamscape (white rum, lime, orgeat, maraschino, pineapple, & midori), The Incubus (Godiva chocolate liqueur, Belvedere vodka, chil-infused Frangelico whipped cream, popping sugar, & orange), and the Cosmic Sangria (sparkling wine, St. Germain, Cointreau, blue curacao, pineapple, blueberry, blackberry, & lychee). Liquid Lab sure knows how to make a cocktail!

The venue did not disappoint with its promise of a visual dreamscape. A (scary!) Merman welcomed guests to the hotel and women dressed as toy soldiers guarded the entrance to The Bar. Cocktails offered at The Bar included the Summer Dream (44* North huckleberry vodka, white cranberry juice, St. Germaine, & pineapple juice) and French Margarita (Avion Reposado tequila, fresh lemon & lime juice, Cointreau, & St. Germaine).
