5th Annual Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic

On Saturday, June 2, Veuve Clicquot champagne celebrated the Fifth-Annual Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic at Liberty State Park to benefit Work To Ride.  Clive Owen kicked-off the day as co-host alongside Nacho Figueras, Delfina Blaquier and President of Veuve Clicquot, Vanessa Kay.

Throwing out the ceremonial toss-in, Rachel Zoe commenced the festivities with husband Rodger Berman and baby Skyler.  Bold-faced attendees included Zoe Saldana, Minka Kelly, Padma Lakshmi, Leslie Bibb, Jennifer Morrison, Jessica Stam, Olivia Palermo and Johannes Huebl, Lo Bosworth, Matthew Rhys, Hilary Rhoda, Coco Rocha, Alek Wek, Tiffani Amber Thiessen, Sasha Cohen, Jason Wu, Wes Gordon, Dree Hemingway, Amanda Righetti, Jessica Perez, Catherine Malandrino, Genevieve Jones, Amy Sacco, Poppy Delevigne, Charlotte Ronson, Benedict Cumberbatch, Mia Moretti and Caitlin Moe and more.

As the polo match began, celebrities and VIPs sipped Veuve Clicquot, feasted on a polo-perfect lunch by Ben Towill and Phil Winser of Lower East Side hotspot Fat Radish and Montauk outpost Ruschmeyer’s.  While New York’s finest and the fashion elite were mingling in the VIP Marquee, Veuve Clicquot continued to flow and DJ Reach played the hottest tunes which brought everyone out to the dance floor.

Nacho Figueras led team Black Watch to victory in a 9-7 match beating team Nespresso in an exciting game.
