On Tuesday, November 1st, families around the world will gather to celebrate Día de los Muertos, a traditional Mexican holiday. This year, join in on the festivities with Mexico’s original luxury craft tequila, Tequila Don Julio.
This day of celebration focuses on gatherings to commemorate the lives of friends and family who have passed away and welcome the return of their spirits. Assured that the deceased would be insulted by mourning or sadness, the holiday honors the lives of the dearly departed with festivals and lively celebrations that include favorite foods, drinks and activities the dead enjoyed in life.
This year, celebrate Día de los Muertos authentically with friends, family and Mexico’s tequila of choice, Tequila Don Julio. Created by Los Angeles Mixologist Jason Bran and crafted with Tequila Don Julio 70, one of the most popular tequilas enjoyed in all of Mexico, the Stormy 70 cocktail is the perfect way celebrate life and toast to your ancestors. It’s a spin on two classics, the Paloma and the Dark & Stormy, mixed together to combine ginger beer, grapefruit juice and pomegranate juice with Tequila Don Julio 70.
Cheers!
