New York – Summer is in full swing in New York and in celebration of the season, The Standard East Village has unveiled its newly updated outdoor space, The Garden.
Located behind The Standard, East Village’s Bowery walls, The Garden is a hidden oasis in the bustling East Village. Decorated with oversized topiaries, playful garden seating and an array of delectable small bites, The Garden offers a whimsical experience that allows one to enjoy a fantasy escape all summer long.
Debuting new offerings to the space, including a 10-foot birdcage, topiary bird and a matching 10-foot topiary snake that keeps a watchful eye over the outdoor bar, the front of the garden is filled with lush greenery and brightly colored lounge seating with playful patterns. Continuing to the back of the venue for additional seating, a new AstroTurf terrace, bulb topiary lined mirrored walls and fresh clay fixture decorated trees, The Garden creates the perfect location to gather together and enjoy New York City’s warm weather.
The vibrantly colored backdrop lends itself as the picturesque setting to dine on seasonal offerings prepared by The Standard, East Village’s chef including Spanish Octopus, Steak Tartare, Pimento Cheese Croquettes, Shishito Peppers, and Crab Toast to name a few.
