This month, a philanthropic collaboration transpired between artist Ruben Rojas and local LA-based brand and distillery Our/Los Angeles.
Our/Los Angeles vodka, led by distiller Anton Van DerWoude and located in the arts district of downtown Los Angeles, has partnered with artist Ruben Rojas best known for his “love” artwork to spread the message of “Live Through Love” with a custom label 750ml bottle available February 8th and priced at $20.99.
There were 250 “LOVE” bottles made in the first run of production, with 200 being released to the public. Currently, the “LOVE” bottles can be purchased at Simon’s Provisions and Flask & Field, and will be expanding to other stores.
The collaboration will also include a donation to Ruben’s charity, Beautify Earth, to sponsor a street mural by Ruben in Los Angeles (Santa Monica.) Beautify Earth is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and international movement that creates impactful murals in neglected areas by engaging with brands, cities, developers, small businesses, neighborhood organizations, schools, and individuals. This will be the second initiative as a part of the brand’s LA Spotlight campaign partnering with different Angelenos each month for social good.
