OAK, the fashion forward basics clothier premieres a short film, “KEPT,” directed and created by, Liza Mandelup.
’KEPT‘ follows a young man who moves to Los Angeles with a punk band and finds himself entangled with an older wealthy woman who houses him in her Beverly Hills Mansion showers him with gifts and exploits him along the way. Starring Dey Young and Davis LeDuke, the film takes places in the space of their unique relationship and daily rituals. Having moved to Los Angeles with expectations and dreams the reality of the young man’s life in the city is far different from anything he could have imagined.
’KEPT’ was screened for an exclusive audience of friends and family of OAK, at the brand’s Beverly Blvd. store in Los Angeles last week. Artist SoKo DJ’d for the duration of the event.
Guests were treated to beer from House Beer, wine and prosecco from Ruffino, and a refreshing Drambuie Collins cocktail.
Notable guests included Mischa Barton, Tara Subkoff, and Dov Charney.
