Los Angeles, CA – Hard Rock International is calling upon its seasoned bartenders to flip, twirl, spin, and pour as part of the third annual BARocker global competition. Hard Rock’s top bartenders from around the world were invited to show off their skills for a chance to be crowned as Hard Rock’s Global BARocker Champion of 2015. Following several local BARocker events, Hard Rock Cafe Hollywood on Hollywood Blvd. will host the regional round of the competition on Tuesday, January 5, 2016, where the most spirited bartenders from the Central and Western regions will fight for a spot behind the bar and a chance to move on to the final round in Orlando, Fla.
Bartenders from Hard Rock Cafes in Anchorage, Dallas, Denver, Detroit, Houston, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, San Antonio, San Diego and Seattle will be at the regional round to represent Hard Rock in the BARocker competition, which will be judged by a panel of industry experts and local celebrities, including Cindy Busi, Worldwide Beverage Director for Hard Rock International; Armando Rosario, Director of Mixology for Southern Wine & Spirits; and Brian Loukmas, Master Mixologist from Bacardi. Competitors will be judged on several key elements, including recipe knowledge, pour testing, accuracy, speed, flair, and showmanship.
After the regional showdown, the winner will be flown to Orlando, Fla. for Hard Rock’s annual Global Conference in January 2016 for the worldwide finals where bartenders will compete alongside twelve other candidates for the title of Global BARocker Champion. The grand prize winner will receive a Global BARocker pin, “2015 BARocker of the Year” Fender guitar, trophy, apparel and an ultimate getaway for two to their choice of one of Hard Rock’s beautiful all-inclusive resort properties! The Global BARocker champion will also have their winning drink featured on Hard Rock’s beverage menu for a limited time.
Guests are encouraged to join in on the fun and cheer on their favorite Hard Rock bartenders as they battle their way to the global finals in Orlando, Fla.
