Marquee Nightclub in The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas rang in the new year with a countdown to midnight and blowout performance by hip hop artist Fetty Wap. The chart-topping rapper delighted party-goers with an array of hits including “My Way”, “679” and “Trap Queen.” Making a special appearance later in the night was recording artist Bruno Mars, who jumped in the DJ booth with DJ Politik and sang along to a selection of his top songs. Joining the party was actress Halle Berry, who enjoyed the night from Bruno’s VIP booth. Also in attendance was NFL star Jamaal Charles who celebrated 2016 by dancing the night away with his wife.
At LAVO in The Palazzo, party-goers welcomed 2016 with DJ Khaled. Upon arriving, the Snapchat guru jumped on top of the DJ booth and counted down to midnight with guests in the restaurant before pumping up the crowd by playing a set complete with the latest hits. Continuing the festivities, LAVO staff presented Khaled with a special cake to congratulate the producer and DJ on his recent Snapchat notoriety. The DJ then headed upstairs and took over the booth for a second set.
Over at TAO in The Venetian, hip hop artist Snoop Dogg surprised guests in the restaurant just before midnight by jumping in the DJ booth in front of the giant Buddha, wishing the crowd a happy new year and telling everyone to drink up. The rapper then took to the stage inside the nightclub where he lead the crowd in a countdown to midnight before delighting club goers with a 20-minute performance of his top hits.
