New York – On Wednesday night, at the glamorous Metropolitan Club, the stars of Finding Neverland and their celebrity supporters gathered to celebrate the show’s opening night. Leading lady Laura Michelle Kelly and her co-stars Matthew Morrison and Kelsey Grammer arrived straight from the theater and began toasting with glasses of Moet & Chandon Imperial. They were joined by friends including Helen Mirren, Daren Criss, Gloria Estefan, Bryan Cranston, Lara Spencer, Derrick Hough and Bryan Batt.
Harvey Weinstein, the show’s executive producer, held court in a private room as fellow show-biz A-listers stopped by to congratulate him. Matthew Morrison arrived with wife Renee Puente and was the center of attention the whole night, bouncing from room to room greeting friends and accepting congratulations from fans. Helen Mirren, passed a giant bottle of Moet and did a double-take, asking: “Ooh, is that Moet? My favorite!” Darren Criss, channeled his music-loving character Blaine on Glee, danced all night, challenging friends to show off their skills on the floor.
