New York – Last week, GREY GOOSE Vodka kicked off the Manhattan Cocktail Classic, with a celebration of the launch of its newest flavor, GREY GOOSE Le Melon.
Hosted beneath the iconic soaring dome of the Celeste Bartos Forum at the New York Public Library, invited guests came together for a legendary evening of incognito revelry at Le Bal Masqué.
Following a set by the internationally renowned DJ MICK, the evening featured a special live performance by GRAMMY Award winning recording artist, Big Boi. Just before getting on stage, Big Boi exclaimed his excitement about being back in front of the fans, and especially about his summer tour dates and upcoming solo album. One half of the legendary hip-hip duo, Outkast, Big Boi brought the crowd to its feet with fan favorites like “Back of the Bus,” “Shutterbug,” and “The Whole World.”
DJ Questlove was spotted backstage jamming out to Big Boi’s set, before taking the stage himself, and spinning a lively set that included music by his own band, The Roots, and remixes of other crowd-pleasers like JT’s “Sexy Back” and JAY Z’s “On to the Next One.”
Masked guests in attendance danced the night away until the lights came on, and enjoyed a bevvy of GREY GOOSE signature cocktails, including the GREY GOOSE Le Melon Fizz, Bayonne Old Fashioned, Cavaillon Manhattan, and the decided favorite, GREY GOOSE Le Melon Mule. Additional notables in attendance included Kehinde Wiley (Artist), Chef Roble Ali, Melyssa Ford (model), Andre King, Geoffrey Fletcher, Legendary Damon, Laura Stylez (Hot 97) and more.
