Cruzan Rum Awards Halle Barry as Fashionably Late

Celebrities dazzled on the red carpet at last night’s Oscars so it’s no surprise that this morning is all about who-wore-who or who said what!

Cruzan Rum believes in the “Don’t Hurry” island mentality, taking its time to perfectly age its finely crafted rums to deliver a full-bodied spirit. Close attention was paid as tinseltowns’ finest gathered on the red carpet to see who also believes in the “Don’t Hurry.”

Congratulations to Halle Berry on winning Cruzan’s “Don’t Hurry” award for being the last person to be interviewed on the red carpet. It might not be an Oscar, but to us it’s just as exciting to win!

To celebrate Halle’s “victory,” we’re encouraging everyone to sip on the Cruzan Fashionably Late cocktail as you recap last night’s event. Cheers!

Cruzan® Fashionably Late

– 1 1/2 parts Cruzan® Strawberry Rum

– 1/4 part Fresh Lime Juice

– 2 Dashes Bitters

– 2 parts Ginger Beer

– 1 part Soda Water

– 1 Mint Sprig

Combine Cruzan Strawberry Rum, Lime Juice and bitters over ice in an Old Fashioned glass. Add Ginger Beer and soda. Give a quick stir to combine. Garnish with mint sprig.
