ABEST Launches +Beach Brasil at SLS Hotel South Beach

Miami Beach, FL – On Monday, July 23, The Brazilian Association of Fashion Designers (ABEST) delivered the latest looks from Brazil’s beaches to Swim Week in Miami. ABEST launched +Beach Brasil, the entity’s latest project aiming to expose the vibrant colors and electrifying patterns of Brazilian swim fashions to global audiences. The collection featured 17 of Brazils hottest brands, including Água de Coco by Liana Thomaz, Amir Slama, ANK Swimwear, Brigitte, Cia, Marítima, Cecília Prado Mare, Clube Bossa, Dalai Beachwear, Jo de Mer, Larissa Minatto, Lenny, Poko Pano, Salinas, Skinbiquini, Treza, Triya and Vix Swimwear.

More than 200 guests lounged on brightly colored couches that lined the poolside setting at SLS Hotel South Beach. Models showed off a vibrant selection of suits from the +Beach Brasil portfolio as guests enjoyed a savory menu of bites that included crispy battered shrimp and kobe skirt steak skewers. Designers mixed and mingled with the crowd and discussed their lively looks while celebrating the launch of +Beach Brasil. Leblon Cachaca kept guests tipsy and served up sumptuous caipirinhas as party-goers enjoyed live Brazilian beats.

Designers in attendance included Paola Robba of Poko Pano; Mirla Sabino of ANK; Cecilia Prado of Cecilia Prado Mare.
