Summer Soiree with Refine Mixers

Venice Beach, CA – On Wednesday evening, Refine Mixers hosted a summer soiree at the Refine Mixers Beach House off of Abbot Kinney and Venice Blvd. Refine Mixers, the world’s first line of zero calories, zero sugar, all–natural cocktail mixer teamed up with E! Entertainment’s Ashlan Gorse, Joico Hair Care and Gjelina to throw a summer soiree like no other. Guests were shuttled down from Los Angeles to Venice beach and enjoyed refine cocktails and treats while on the shuttle.

Editors and tastemakers came together for a special intimate dinner where they learned how to pair specialty mixed drinks with healthy food. At dinner guests stayed tipsy as they were educated on the history of Refine Mixers by CEO Patrick Castles. Everyone learned how to muddle and shake-up several different Refine Mixers cocktails: The Venice Peach Bellini, Abbot’s Marg, Canal Side Cosmo, and Morrison’s Mojito while enjoying food from Gjelina.

Joico had a small braid bar downstairs where women were able to get their hair done with Beachy waves & Waterfall braids by celebrity colorist George Papanikolas while sipping on some refreshing cocktails.

The E! Entertainment Host currently is dating humanitarian and CNN Correspondent Philippe Cousteau. He is the grandson of legend Jaques Cousteau. They are an adventurous couple who love traveling and entertaining. Thus the perfect fit to have Ashlan Gorse host the Refine Mixer Summer Soiree.  Ashlan enjoys cooking, entertaining, and traveling- she alone has been to 60 countries. Ashlan has left for Koread and she stated at the Refine Mixer event to Joico’s George Papanikolas that she is going with her beau and they will be shark diving off California’s coast after they return from Korea. The couple that flirts with danger together stays together.
