The intimate private event drew members from the exclusive New World Symphony private membership club, and invited them to a private rum sampling of the four marques of the super-premium FACUNDO Rum Collection.
The three-story indoor/outdoor lounge was the perfect backdrop to set FACUNDO, a rum Collection that evokes elegance, glamour, and luxury. As part of the celebration, guests were greeted by poised FACUNDO spokesmodels and offered elevated spins on classic cocktails – the NEO White Negroni and EXIMO Old Fashioned, made with FACUNDO rum.
Within the space, the private members ventured between two FACUNDO bars – a smaller bar offered up neat pours of the FACUNDO Rum Collection’s four marques, and the main bar served up signature cocktails.
The chef at Komodo artfully paired passed hors d’oeurves to each of the expressions, which included beef and octopus skewers, coconut rice boxes, lobster ‘dynamite’, tuna crudo, and concluded with a mini panna cotta as a sweet ending. The food pairings were created to enhance the flavor profiles of the rums and were served in progression with the marques of the Collection.
An attentive audience of 60 New World Symphony members were treated to a heartfelt recounting of the Bacardi family history by David Cid, BACARDÍ Brand Specialist. Cid provided an overview of the FACUNDO Rum Collection as a whole, as well as imparted notes on each expression individually, providing context to the libations of the evening – the FACUNDO Rum Collection.
