You know, there are people who prefer dry versions of a martini. Gin over vodka. Some like it shaken and others will only have it stirred. And where does that all-important olive garnish come in, or is it that important at all?
This National Martini Day, take our word for it and try the martini a different way: Fitty-Fitty. Equal parts spirit to vermouth, this version was created by Pegu Club’s Audrey Saunders, and is a sophisticated version of the classic.

1.5 oz Snow Leopard Vodka
1.5 oz Dolin Dry Vermouth (Noilly Prat Original Dry is also very good for a sweeter variation)
2 drops Miracle Mile Yuzu Bitters

1 oz. Tanqueray London Dry
1 oz. Noilly Prat Dry Vermouth
1 Dash Angostura Orange Bitters
Stir until very cold and strain into chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a lemon twist.
