New Jersey – Tonight, A-listers including Shakira, Taylor Swift, Cardi B, Megan Thee Stallion, Sabrina Carpenter, Anitta, Nev Schulman and more descended on the Prudential Center in New Jersey to toast at the 2023 MTV VMAs, and celebrated their wins with the Mojito Mo-Problems cocktails, the signature serve of the ceremony! The annual celebration ended with a 50th anniversary of hip hop celebration presented by BACARDÍ with cameos from some of the biggest artists from the last five decades, including Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne, DMC, LL Cool J, Doug E. Fresh, and Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five.
As the first official spirits sponsor of the MTV VMAs, BACARDÍ also debuted a brand new campaign featuring legendary producer DJ Premier and rapper Don Toliver! Featuring the many songs that have name checked the iconic rum brand for the last five decades, the spot honors the 50th anniversary of hip hop and all the celebratory moments it has brought throughout the years.
