New York – BACARDÍ Bay welcomed festivalgoers into an island oasis to kick off Governors Ball 2019, with a stellar lineup of signature cocktails and talent on the BACARDÍ Stage next door. Guests lounged in day boat charging stations and hammocks, while taking in the best views of the Governors Ball grounds from BACARDÍ Bay.

Highlights from some of the BACARDÍ Stage performances on day one include singer-songwriter Jessie Reyez, who performed Dua Lipa’s “One Kiss,” which she proudly announced she wrote, while wearing a Toronto Raptors jersey. Singer-songwriter Blood Orange surprised the crowd by bringing out fellow artist, Ian Isiah, in the afternoon.

Finally, to close out the night, Lil Wayne performed a mix of his new and old hits to a huge crowd – which included hits like “Lollipop,” “A Milli,” “Uproar,” “I’m Goin’ In,” “Mrs. Officer,” “HYFR,” and more. Lil Wayne was decked out in Gucci from head to toe for his performance.
