Kentucky Mulled Cider – Created by Chef and Maker’s Mark® Cookbook Editor
For those that would prefer to drink their warm apple pie, this Kentucky Cider has you covered.
4½ parts Maker’s 46® Bourbon
4 cups apple cider
2 pieces cinnamon stick
1 teaspoon whole cloves
1 teaspoon whole allspice
½ piece vanilla bean
1 tablespoon brown sugar
3 thin slices of orange
Juice of ¼ lemon
Combine the cider, cinnamon sticks, cloves, allspice berries, the scraped vanilla bean and pod, and the brown sugar in a medium pot. Stir to combine. Bring to a simmer over medium-high heat, then reduce the heat to low. Simmer for 10 minutes. Add the orange slices, lemon juice, and Maker’s 46® Bourbon. Stir to combine and allow the cider to steep over low heat for another 5 minutes. Serve hot. Serves 4 -6.
Hot Apple Rum
With just four staple ingredients, this warming rum-cider will keep you cozy through the new year.
1 part Sugar Island Spiced Rum
2 parts apple cider
2-3 slices of orange
3-5 cinnamon sticks
Combine ingredients in a crock-pot and stir, heat up and serve as needed. Garnish with a cinnamon stick.

A creamy offering with all the sweetness of the season, lifted by refreshing citrus, and Amarula’s signature bright marula fruit.
1 part Amarula
1 part Bourbon
Build ingredients in a mixing glass. Add ice, stir 20-30 seconds and strain over ice (preferably crushed). Grate coffee dust and orange zest over the cocktail.

Cranberries are the star in this champagne topped spritzer, which makes for a festive libation in any scenario.
2 parts Tres Agaves Reposado Tequila
1 part blood orange juice
1/2 part aperol
1/2 part cranberry juice
Champagne, to fill
Cranberries, to garnish
Add all the ingredients into a shaking tin and fill with a handful of ice. Shake for 5 seconds and strain into a Collins glass. Top with Champagne and garnish with a few cranberries.

Satisfy the table’s grouchy uncle with this gingery-bourbon libation.
1 ½ parts Maker’s Mark
1 ½ parts Fresh Lemon Juice
1 part House Ginger Syrup
Topped with Crabbie’s Ginger Beer
2-3 dashes orange bitter’s
Build over ice in a highball.
White n’ Stormy
Skip the after dinner coffee and polish off Turkey Day with this liquid dessert
1 ½ parts Amarula Cream Liqueur
Slice of fresh grated ginger
Dollop of honey
½ part Bourbon
1 ¼ part Half and half (half cream & half milk)
Shake and fine strain all ingredients over fresh ice in a short glass. Garnish with piece of sliced ginger dipped in honey.
