The fifth season finale of “Mad Men” left viewers with an image of Don Draper seated at a bar, deliberating over staying true to his wife or pursuing a couple of young ladies. On Sunday, April 7th, beginning at 8pm, Gerber Group’s Whiskey Park invites you to take Don’s seat at the bar to watch the action unfold at the “Mad Men” Season Premiere Viewing Party.
Guests are encouraged to dress to impress – perhaps in wardrobes inspired by a prep school Pete Campbell, a crisp, double-breasted jacket like Roger Sterling’s, a demure and feminine Betty Francis, a modern and chic Megan Draper, or a seductive Joan Holloway-Harris. Guests can re-live the swinging sixties while watching the Season 6 premiere and dancing to an eclectic mix of old-school jazz, classic rock ‘n’ roll and electronica.
Enjoy a drink and delve into Don’s boozy world of advertising with The Whiskey, or woo your clients with something flashy like Pete’s Midnight Manhattan that’s sure to strike a deal. Order Betty’s refreshing Coconut Basil Gimlet, or raise a glass to Peggy’s new job with a joyous Strawberry Mojito.
Additionally, fans of the show should prepare to put their special knowledge of the world of Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce to the test. Guests will have a chance to answer “Mad Men” trivia questions to win a $50 gift card that can be used at any of Gerber Group’s locations.
In case you’d rather stay home to celebrate the premiere, below are some cocktails to keep you tipsy throughout the night…
