New Orleans – On Wednesday, July 25th, William Grant & Sons celebrated the 10th Anniversary of Tales of The Cocktail by hosting its annual portfolio party at the New Orleans Museum of Art in New Orleans, Louisiana.
True to form, this innovative spirits company whose portfolio including Glenfiddich and The Balvenie Single Malt Scotch Whiskies, Hendrick’s Gin, Tullamore Dew Irish Whiskey, Sailor Jerry Rum, Milagro Tequila and Stolichnaya Vodka, kicked-off the weeklong spirits convention by paying a roaring tribute to Tales with a “Big Birthday” party, as the world’s premier cocktail festival celebrates its 10th Anniversary.
Highlights of the evening included the launch of a new super premium and modern mezcal: Montelobos, which marks William Grant & Sons’ first entrance into the category. WG&S also celebrated the success of the bartender cult favorite Monkey Shoulder – a ground-breaking blended malt Scotch whisky – set to launch in Texas, California and New York this summer.
Guests at the event were also treated to a Hendrick’s Gin three-level bar, a Monkey Shoulder Slap and Tickle Village, Sailor Jerry burlesque dancers, and a rousing fireworks display all to ring in the week of events in style.
William Grant and Sons will be hosting seminars, tasting rooms, spirited dinners, and more throughout the week.
