Asellina Launches Weekly “Sunday Supper” Prix-Fixe Dinner Menu

New York – Busy New Yorkers can slow down and take a load off every Sunday night at Asellina with the launch of Chef Marco Porceddu’s weekly “Sunday Supper” for just $35 per person. The award-winning chef has created an inventive three-course menu to select from each week that sits alongside Asellina’s regular menu. What’s more, guests can take advantage of Asellina’s “Wine Down Sundays” where the restaurant will take 50% off any bottle of wine for the night. The nod to a traditional Italian dinner night among the bustling Manhattan streets makes Asellina a must-stop to cap off your weekend.

Hailing from Sardinia, Chef Porceddu knows a thing or two about traditional Sunday dinners. His special menu echoes the vitality of the Italian home while keeping an eye toward Asellina’s playful cuisine and upbeat energy. Dishes include:


Chopped Salad | Ricotta salata, white balsamic

Beef Carpaccio | Roasted tomatoes, artichokes, parmigiano

Sautéed Shrimp | Cannellini beans, leeks

Buffalo Mozzarella | Belgian endive, frisée, green beans, caper vinaigrette



House-made Spaghetti | Fresh tomato sauce

Lamb Meatballs | Wild mushrooms, green peas

Seafood Stew | Garlic ciabatta, saffron
