On Saturday, April 21st, celebrities such as Nikki Reed, Alexander Skarsgard, Zoe Kravitz, Paul McDonald (American Idol) and Penn Badgley flocked to the SKYY Infusions Coconut Escape at the Renaissance Esmeralda in the Coachella desert to celebrate the launch of SKYY’s new coconut infused vodka.
Nikki Reed and new husband Paul McDonald, who were attending the festival for the first time, enjoyed a double date with Coachella veterans Penn Badgley and girlfriend Zoe Kravitz. The four hung out in a cabana in the VIP area and even caught a ride to the festival together. Nikki and Penn took some time to cool off by the pool, where they laughed and threw a beach ball around.
Alexander, who came with a big group of guy friends, hung out on the lawn, drinking SKYY Infusions Coconut Island Slushies, which were served in hollowed out coconuts. He spent some time poolside, when his close friend Lykke Li (who is also from Sweden) got on the turntables.
Even in the 100 degree heat, revelers kept cool at the poolside soiree with specialty SKYY Infusions Coconut cocktails and Vita Coco, while listening to sets from the most in demand DJs, including newly launched DJ collective Ingrid Soundsystem (Lykke Li, Peter, Bjorn and John and Andrew Wyatt of Miike Snow), Mandy Coon, Myles Henderik and Ana Calderon.
