Malibu, CA – Maria Menounos celebrated her Shape Magazine cover with friends and her film producer boyfriend, Kevin Undergaro at the Chapstick Beach House in Malibu this past Saturday.
Derek Hough, Maria’s Dancing With The Stars partner made a surprise appearance at the party as she was unaware that he was going to come! As Maria and Lisa Rinna were receiving a cooking lesson from one of the trainers/chefs, Derek snuck up behind her! It made her day that Derek showed up!
Terrell Owens, Derek Hough and Maria Menounos all played Beach Tennis with professional Beach Tennis players throughout the day and then cooled off by jumping in the water. They kept hydrated with Zico Coconut Water and they didn’t forget about their lips in the sun, constantly using Chapstick Sports Ready with SPF protection.
Fitness fueled workouts were set in motion by amazing fitness professionals. Guests stuck to Silk Soymilk to get a boost before their work out. Early afternoon called for one-on-one consultations with fitness and lifestyle consultant, Ashley Borden. She is currently a co-host on The Cooking Channel’s ‘Drop 5 Lbs’, an advisor for Livestrong’s new YouTube channel and author of ‘Your Perfect Fit.’ Following Ashley’s advice, Mandy Ingber, author and creator of yoga-hybrid Yogalosophy taught Maria and guests stretching exercises and took them through a 20 minute yoga routine. The fitness filled afternoon wouldn’t be complete without a healthy snack demo by Steve Moyer. This former pro athlete and owner of The Moyer Method offered information regarding how to eat healthy and stay fit. To round up the workouts for the day, Michael George led Maria and friends through an abs and core workout overlooking the ocean. George is the author of Body Express Makeover: Trim and Sculpt Your Body in Less Than Six Weeks.
Maria was also spotted enjoying Designer Whey shakes and Thrive ice cream. TO was a big fan of the strawberry flavored Thrive!
As the day turned into evening, the party shifted gears as it went from a day of fitness to an evening celebrating Maria and her boyfriend, Keven Undergaro’s online network, AfterBuzz TV. Guests were treated to specialty margaritas made with PaQui the “Happy Tequila” and food by Pink Taco. The women were enjoying the last moments of sunlight as the guys enjoyed puffing on their Camacho Cigars.
All of the female guests were treated to sneakers by Ryka as part of their gift bag giveaway.
