The Peninsula Beverly Hills & MIJENTA TEQUILA Create Valentine’s Cocktail to Launch ‘With Love’ Campaign


Los Angeles, California – Mijenta, the award winning tequila from the highlands of Jalisco, and The Peninsula Beverly Hills, Southern California’s only AAA Five Diamond and Forbes Five Star-rated hotel, have teamed up to create a Valentine’s cocktail to launch the hotel’s With Love campaign.

Crafted by Juan Coronado, award winning mixologist and Co-Founder at Mijenta, Every Rose Has Its Thorn combines Mijenta Blanco, with notes of vanilla, honey, caramel and flora, together with Lillet Blanc, Campari and creme de cacao.

The combination of ingredients in Every Rose Has Its Thorn creates a unique fusion of bitter, sweet and sour flavors, which perfectly compliment Mijenta Blanco’s floral, honey, caramel and vanilla notes. Together, these elements create a metaphor for the complexities and limitless possibilities of love” shares Juan Coronado.

The Peninsula Beverly Hills’ With Love campaign launches as a reminder to value the things and people we love, which is more important now than ever. For the month of February, the public is invited by the hotel for a social media contest, in which they submit a letter to or from someone they love, for a chance to win one of three hotel experiences. The experiences include a stay for two at The Peninsula Beverly Hills, dinner for two at The Belvedere or a complimentary spa treatment for two at the hotel.

The three winners will be selected and revealed on March 15th, 2021 by a panel of judges taking into consideration originality, appropriateness to theme, quality of expression and appropriateness to the image of the sponsor. 


1.5 part Mijenta Tequila Blanco

0.75 part Lillet Blanc

0.5 part Martini Bitter

0.25 part creme de cacao white


Stir all ingredients with plenty ice

Strain into a rocks glass with a large ice cube

Garnish with a rose petal
