Today, model Martha Hunt and chef Franco Noriega of Baby Brasa joined Bacardi for the third iteration of its Back to the Bar event. 7,000 Bacardi employees in over 100 cities around the globe left their to do lists behind to visit hundreds of bars and conduct “barstool research” – talking to consumers, restaurant owners, and most importantly, bartenders, to get a deeper understanding of why, what and how people are drinking. New for this year’s Back to the Bar, the largest privately-held spirits company released its first-ever Bacardi Cocktail Trends Report, shedding light on what’s creating excitement for bartenders in 2020.
Cocktail aficionados themselves, Martha and Franco popped up at the Back to the Bar celebration in NYC at Bathtub Gin, where guests sipped on Bacardi Rum Coco Locos, Grey Goose High Teas, St-Germain Spritz cocktails and more. Martha even got behind the bar and made a few daiquiris with the Director of Bacardi Global Advocacy Jacob Briars. Taking a break from her busy schedule during Fashion Week, the renowned model took her newfound talent to the next level, engaging in a vigorous cocktail-shaking competition with her fellow bartenders. She engaged the crowd all evening long, toasting and hamming it up with the bar-goers.
