PERRIER-JOUET CHAMPAGNE & THE SEXTON IRISH WHISKEY Celebrate Karl Lagerfeld at Boom Boom Room in NYC

On Tuesday evening, the world’s most iconic man in fashion, Karl Lagerfeld, was honored at an intimate dinner hosted by V Magazine in partnership with Perrier-Jouët Champagne and The Sexton Irish Whiskey at New York City’s Boom Boom Room.

The star-studded room was filled with guests and icons in their own right, including Naomi Campbell, Mario Testino, Andre Leon-Talley, Baz Luhrmann, Gigi and Bella Hadid, Joan Smalls, Derek Blasberg, Kris Jenner, Pat McGrath, among many others. The crowd cheered on as Mariah Carey serenaded the room with a selection of her greatest hits, and closed the set by dedicating Hero to longtime friend, Karl Lagerfeld.

Throughout the night guests enjoyed cocktails from The Sexton – whose own skeleton emblem closely resembles that of the Bradley Theodore painting of Lagerfeld – as they mingled around the venue’s iconic tree bar.

V Magazine Editor in Chief Stephen Gan closed the evening with a toast to Karl raising a glass of Perrier-Jouët Belle Epoque Rosé in his honor.
