Father’s Day is June 19th and sure, you could get your pops a boring tie he’ll never wear, a tech-related gadget he probably won’t use or a beer-making kit that requires 12 hours of set-up time. Forget about buying a last-minute lame gift, and instead, show your appreciation with something he’ll really enjoy- one on one time over a drink. Act as a bartender for the night with some great drink recipes created with whiskey, vodka, gin or tequila!

For whiskey lovers, make The Still’sGreat Bambino” mixed with your dad’s favorite whiskey, Angostura Bitters and Orange bitters that you can find at your local grocery store, and mix into an old fashion glass for a warm and smooth after effect. Or create Tilted Kilt’sApple Rye Old Fashion” with Crown Royale and angora bitters.

Vodka drinkers appreciate a classic Moscow mule from Hearthstone, mix in your choice of vodka, lime juice, ginger beer and fresh lime juice poured into a copper mule cup.

Cheers with your father and create Salute’s “Negroni” gin cocktail created with Plymouth Gin and Cocchi di Torino Vermouth and mixed with Campari, and serve in an etched rocks glass and garnish with an orange peel.

For hard hitters, tequila cocktails can be spicy. Make Borracha’s “Heat of the Moment” spicy cocktail mixed with tequila, passion fruit puree, fresh lime juice and agave. Crush two slices of fresno chile for that spicy kick.

Create a refreshing “Mint Julep” by Tilted Kilt with Makers Mark and Simple Syrup!

Cheers!
