Los Angeles – Now that the Critics’ Choice Awards is officially 21 years old, Moët & Chandon joined in as the official champagne of the ceremony of the first time. The champagne, which has become synonymous with Hollywood glamour, fêted the industry’s elite tonight at the ceremony hosted by Comedian T.J. Miller.
Stars including Cate Blanchett, Jennifer Lawrence, Jennifer Aniston, Justin Theroux, Matt Damon, Johnny Depp, Kate Winslet, Leonardo DiCaprio, Charlize Theron, Eddie Redmayne, Jessica Chastain, Bryan Cranson, Sylvester Stallone, Helen Mirren and many more walked the red carpet and enjoyed glasses of Moët & Chandon Impérial at their tables during the awards show. Funny girl Amy Schumer raised a glass of Moët with friends in celebration of receiving the “Critic’s Choice MVP Award” for Inside Amy Schumer, a show for which she is the creator, star, writer and executive producer. She was joined by the all-star casts of Empire, Friends, Game of Thrones, Orange is the New Black who were vying for the award of “Most Bingeworthy.”
Making their first red-carpet appearance to date, Amy Schumer was arm-in-arm with boyfriend Ben Hanisch all night. Critics’ Choice winner Alicia Vikander made a Moët toast to her table before being honored on for Best Supporting Actress in The Danish Girl. Helen Mirren and Leslie Mann were all hugs, seen hanging out, chatting for most of the commercial breaks. Sharon Stone was so eager to speak with Fred Savage, that she got up and moved seats, capturing the moment taking an endless amount of selfies over glasses of bubbly. Patrick Stewart and Aziz Ansari hung out backstage, as John Stamos and Kirsten Dunst were spotted sipping bubbly.
