Join GREY GOOSE Vodka in it’s 11th Year of Supporting the Kentucky Derby & Churchill Downs

The highly competitive horse racing season will culminate on May 2nd at the 141st running of the Kentucky Derby, where the most determined horse and it’s jockey will be crowned the best of the best.

Attendees will be able join Grey Goose® Vodka in its 11th year of supporting the Kentucky Derby and Churchill Downs by sipping on super-premium Grey Goose® cocktails – All the King’s Horses and Grey Goose® Oaks Lily – while cheering on their favorite horse.

The nobly-inspired cocktail, All the King’s Horses, is an ode to seven-time Eclipse Award winner as Outstanding Trainer of the Year, “The King” Todd Pletcher is made with Grey Goose® Le Melon, the refreshing cocktail offers a unique pairing of fresh grapefruit juice and spicy jalapeno.

In keeping with the Kentucky Derby tradition started in 2006, Grey Goose® will feature the Grey Goose® Oaks Lily cocktail, the official cocktail of the Kentucky Oaks races, which will take place on May 1st at Churchill Downs. This specialty cocktail, served in a commemorative glass, highlights Grey Goose® Original with cranberry juice, orange liquor and a blackberry and lemon garnish.

A portion of the proceeds from the sales of the GREY GOOSE® Oaks Lily will benefit Horses and Hope, a breast cancer initiative that partners with the equine industry to identify new opportunities to provide breast cancer awareness, education, early detection through screening and treatment referral.

ALL THE KING’S HORSES

½ Oz Grey Goose® Le Melon
1 Oz Fresh Grapefruit Juice
1 Oz Fresh Lemon Juice
1 Oz St. Germain
1 Jalapeno
Method: Muddle one slice jalapeno in a shaker. Add remaining ingredients and shake vigorously. Strain into a Collins glass filled with fresh ice and top with soda and jalapeno garnish.

GREY GOOSE OAKS LILY

1 Oz Grey Goose® Original
½ Oz Fresh Lemon Juice
½ Oz Simple Syrup
3 Oz Cranberry Juice
Splash of Orange Liquor
Method: Fill glass slightly above rim with cubed ice. Pour ingredients in order listed to ½ inch from top of glass. Stir slowly and present with a fresh blackberry and a slice of lemon
