Holiday plans…check, New Year’s Eve plans…check…all the holiday festivities may leave you looking for a reason to keep the celebration going. Luckily, January 1st is National Bloody Mary Day and V8 has some great recipes and tips to kick-off the New Year with a fave “morning after” cocktail.
See below for the V8 Bloody Mary Classic Recipe including simple ways to add zing to the classic recipe that will satisfy your New Year’s resolution:
· Eat more fruit, substitute citrus flavored vodka for the regular and serve with a lemon or lime wedge
· Be bold, add ¼ teaspoon ground chipotle chile pepper
· Try something new, replace the celery with a skewer of cooked, peeled large shrimp and pepperoncini pepper

V8 Bloody Mary Classic Recipe:
Prep: 5 Minutes, Makes: 1 Serving
· Ice cubes
· 5 oz. V8 Bloody Mary Mix
· 1 oz. Vodka
· 1 Celery stalk
Method:
· Fill a glass with the ice
· Add the Bloody Mary mix and vodka and stir well
· Garnish with celery
