As we steadily move into the elimination rounds of the 2014 World Cup, Sirio Restaurant is offering cocktails that are perfect for cheering on your favorite soccer team. The Italian Maccioni family are getting into the Brazilian spirit, using the country’s most famous spirit, Cachaça, to make two specialty cocktails, the Copa Marácuja & Copa Carioca, made especially for the occasion. Bartenders will also be donning jerseys of their favorite team, adding to the competitive fun.
Copa Marácuja
1 small lime, quartered
2 sugar cubes
1.5oz Leblon Cachaça
1.5oz Passion Fruit Puree
Muddle lime and sugar cubes in a shaker.
Add puree and Cachaça and shake with ice.
Pour into a large snifter glass and garnish with a lime wheel.

Copa Carioca
1 small lime, quartered
2 sugar cubes
10 blueberries
Splash of Strawberry Puree
1oz Leblon Cachaça
1oz Cedilla Liqueur
Muddle first three ingredients in a shaker.
Add puree and spirits. Shake with ice.
Pour into a rocks glass and garnish with a skewer of blueberries/strawberries.
