New York – George Clooney, Matt Damon, Bill Murray, Cate Blanchett and John Goodman, were in town to celebrate the world premiere of their much-anticipated World War II drama, The Monuments Men. After the film’s premiere, held at the Ziegfeld Theater, the after hours festivities kicked off midtown at The Metropolitan Club where the film’s stars hosted hundreds of friends, family and entertainment executives. Everyone toasted drinking Casamigos, Clooney’s award winning tequila.
At the after party, guests included stars from the film Matt Damon, Jean Dujardin, Bill Murray, Bob Balaban, Demitri Leonidas and Grant Heslov, Clooney’s co-producer. Also in attendance, Clooney’s close pal Rande Gerber and Casamigos partner Mike Meldman, Gravity Director Alfonso Cuarón, Pink Floyd’s David Gilmore, retired police commissioner Ray Kelly, John Varvatos, Martha Stewart, Tom Brokaw and heroes from World War II portrayed by the film’s stars.
Monuments Men will be released nationwide on Friday, February 7th.
