Throw the Perfect Holiday Party with these Specialty Cocktails

As the holidays are rapidly approaching, learn how to throw the perfect holiday cocktail party in honor of Thanksgiving and the upcoming holiday season with Hennessy V.S, Voli Light Vodkas, and Owl’s Brew (a tea crafted specifically for cocktails). Cheers!

THE NORTH STAR

2.5 oz Hennessy V.S

.25 oz maple syrup

1 dash fee brothers black walnut bitters

1 dash angostura bitters

Garnish: 1 star anise

Glass: rocks

Method: add all ingredients to a mixing glass and stir with ice until chilled.  Strain into an old fashioned glass without ice and garnish with a star anise.

HOLIDAY “SAUCE”

1.5 oz Hennessy V.S

.5 oz Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice

Heaping Tablespoon of Cranberry Sauce (the kind you would have with turkey)

1 dash Fee brothers cranberry bitters (optional)

Garnish: Orange Twist, Cinnamon sugar rim

Glass: Coupe or martini

Method: Add all ingredients to a shaker tin with ice, shake until well chilled.

Take the coupe or martini glass and rub the rim with a fresh cut lemon, now dip the rim in a plate of cinnamon sugar (1 part cinnamon to 1 part white sugar).

 Strain the cocktail into the rimmed glass and garnish with an orange twist.

THE GRAND MANHATTAN

1.5 oz Hennessy V.S

.5 oz Sweet Vermouth

.5 oz Grand Marnier

2 dashes Angostura bitters

Garnish: 3 brandied cranberries

Method: Add all ingredients to a mixing glass and stir with ice until chilled.

Strain the cocktail into a rocks glass with fresh ice and garnish with 3 brandied cranberries on a skewer

HORCHATA COFFEE COCKTAIL

1.5 oz Hennessy V.S

1 oz Espresso

1.5 oz Diluted Condensed Milk (diluted 1:1 with water)

.25 oz Grand Marnier

4 dashes Angostura Bitters

GARNISH: fresh grated Cinnamon and Orange twist

METHOD: in a shaker tin add all liquids and shake with ice.  Strain into a rocks glass filled with crushed ice.  Garnish with fresh grated cinnamon and an orange twist.

SPARKLING OWL

2 Parts Owls Brew “Coco-Lada”

1 Part Champagne or Prosecco

Pour into a champagne flute

Garnish with Fresh Dill

OWL’S TODDY

In a saucepan, combine:

2 parts Owl’s Brew “The Classic”

1 part Whiskey

Apple slices

Heat until desired temperature. Do not boil.

Pour into mug

Garnish with Cinnamon Stick

1 1/z oz Voli Raspberry Cocoa

2 oz Cranberry Juice

Lime Squeeze

Glass: Martini

Garnish: Raspberry/Blackberry

Glass: Shot / Martini

Method: Shake well and strain

2 oz Club Soda

2 Lime Wedges

Glass: Rocks
