Clos du Bois Chardonnay Day Bash in New York City

New York – Last week, at the Frying Pan, the outdoor hangout spot that is synonymous with summer, celebrities and notable New Yorkers gathered to celebrate Clos du Bois Chardonnay Day.  Actress Katrina Bowden and new husband, Ben Jorgensen, along with actor Penn Badgley joined Clos du Bois Winemaker Garry Sitton for the barbeque bash.  With a beautiful sunset and sweeping views of the Hudson River, guests played classic games including ring toss and cornhole while they enjoyed artisanal popcorn and Clos du Bois Chardonnay-infused slushies from the popular Kelvin Slush Truck.

On cloud nine following their weekend wedding, Katrina Bowden and Ben Jorgensen sipped Clos du Bois Calcaire Chardonnay as they challenged each other at corn hole, won goldfish as a prize, and enjoyed the sunset on the deck of the Frying Pan.  Katrina looked stunning in a chic light pink frock by one of her favorite designers, Isabel Lu. Katrina wore the same dress to her bridal shower a few weeks prior!

Penn Badgley snacked on flavored popcorn, mingled with friends, and enjoyed the beautiful weather.

Guests sipped on the three Chardonnay wines from the Clos du Bois Portfolio, including the North Coast Chardonnay, Sonoma Reserve Chardonnay and Calcaire Chardonnay, as they listened to live music from the Brooklyn-based indie folk band, Swear and Shake.
