Spring is swiftly approaching, and W Los Angeles – Westwood is celebrating the change in seasons with a change in their food and beverage menus at both NINETHIRTY and The Backyard Restaurants. Executive Chef Dakota Weiss has created delicious menu items that utilize local and seasonal ingredients to offer hotel guests and LA locals a unique variety of dishes to taste. Both restaurants are conducive to an amazing dining experience in a beautiful setting.
At NINETHIRTY, the menu includes “Social Bites” items that are perfect for sharing!
Local Fresh Shucked Oysters with shallots, vinegar and chile ($16)

Additionally, the “Social Bites” include distinguishing dishes such as Cousa Squash Carpaccio with tempura shishito peppers, yuzu and pumpkin vinaigrette ($10), Chicken Liver Mousse with spicy hazelnut crush and crispy apples ($11), and Roasted Beef Bone Marrow with crusty garlic bread, saffron picked shallots and arugula ($13).

The “Beginning Plates” offer seasonal appetizers such as the NINETHIRTY Chopped Salad ($12), Roasted Squash and Burrata with citrus toasted pumpkin seeds and blood orange vinaigrette ($13) and Celery Root Bisque with cocoa, brown butter toasted brioche and bacon powder ($10).

The “Large Plate” entrée items include an array of seafood items – Drunk Mussels ($15/$26), Pan Roasted Wild Salmon with quinoa, roasted sunchokes, picholine olives and pine nuts ($28), a vegetarian option with the Kabocha Squash Polenta “Tamale” with braised greens and manchego ($26), and meat dishes including Grilled Chicken Paillard with butter lettuce, tomato, avocado, lardon and smoked paprika vinaigrette ($23), Roasted Rare Prime Rib ($41) and Grilled Skirt Steak with Peruvian Potatoes, Tomatillo Chimichurri and Chorizo oil ($29).

This dining experience presents guests with items such as the Smoked Cheddar ‘n’ Bacon Waffle with spiced maple syrup butter ($11), Albacore Tuna “Melt” Slider with avocado mayo and sharp cheddar ($18), Grilled Ham and Cheese with shaved Tasso Ham, Saint Andre and lemon-truffle frittes ($18), Sloppy Joe with sweet and spicy BBQ beef, coleslaw and fried onions ($15), Pizza options that include toppings such as black truffle pecorino, ham, rum soaked pineapple, roasted squash and pumpkin seeds ($16), and Truffle Fried Mac ‘n’ Cheese with tubetti and house made lemon ricotta-buttermilk sauce ($26).
