GREY GOOSE VODKA IS BACK FOR ITS 7TH CONSECUTIVE YEAR
AS THE OFFICIAL SPIRITS SPONSOR AND THE CRAFTING OF ‘THE EMMY’ COCKTAIL
North Hollywood – Tipsy Diaries headed over to the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences for the 2012 Creative Arts and 64TH Primetime Emmy Governors Ball Sneak Peek Press Preview.
The lobby of the Leonard H. Goldenson Theatre at the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences was transformed into a replica of this year’s Primetime Emmy Awards celebrations: the Creative Arts Ball (September 15th, following the 2012 Creative Arts Emmy Awards) and Governors Ball (September 23rd, following the 64th Primetime Emmy Awards.)
This year’s décor theme – A Romantic Rhapsody in Red – will welcome guests into a romantic and dramatic embrace, transforming the West Hall. Guests will be awed by the explosion of red throughout the venue, with massive, stylized rose “petals” suspended overhead and 200,000 fresh-cut red roses adorning the guest tables.
Highlights of the “Sneak Peek” Press Preview included food and beverage menus revealed by Patina Catering, the ‘GREY GOOSE Vodka ‘Emmy Cocktail’ featuring GREY GOOSE Cherry Noir, Wines by Beaulieu Vineyard, floral design by LA Premier, full décor samples, table settings and more. Attendees were invited to taste and sip signature courses, cocktails, wines and desserts among stunning visuals. The Red Hots, a powerhouse group of female vocalists, surprised guests with their rendition of Peggy Lee’s “I’m A Woman” – a tease of what they will be performing at this year’s Primetime Emmy Governors Ball.
Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Chairman/CEO Bruce Rosenblum; Television Academy CEO; Governors Ball Chair Joe Stewart, Vice Chairs Geriann McIntosh and Leslie Frankenheimer; Cheryl Cecchetto, Event Producer, Sequoia Productions; Alec Lestr, Executive Chef and Gregg Wiele, Culinary Director, Patina Catering; Jeffrey Stambor, Director of Winemaking, Beaulieu Vineyard®; Randy Evans and Ron Patric, mixologists, GREY GOOSE® Vodka and more were all in attendance.
For the fifteenth consecutive year, Sequoia Productions will produce the Ball. Patina Restaurant Group’s catering division, Patina Catering, will prepare the food marking the seventeenth year Patina has partnered with the Television Academy for the Primetime Emmys. This is the ninth consecutive year Beaulieu Vineyard wines have been featured at the Emmy celebrations and the seventh year Beaulieu Vineyard has been the proud Official Wine Sponsor of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. This year also marks the seventh consecutive year that GREY GOOSE® Vodka has served as the Official Spirits Sponsor, the latter of which will craft the evening’s signature cocktail “The Emmy.”
Additional contributing sponsors that were highlighted at the event include: chocolates by Marich Confections, premium water featured by Acqua Panna, San Pellegrino, and resource, fresh, Dinair, Heineken, Peet’s Coffee & Tea and Hint Mint.
