‘Enjoy wine-drinking on your own terms’
New York – On Thursday night, Tipsy Diaries headed over to popular LES mainstay, Hotel Chantelle, to celebrate the launch of Thorny Rose Wines. Select influencers and NYC notables, including Mia Moretti (DJ), Caitlin Moe (musician), Tyler Boring (Top Chef, Season 9), Kelly Framel (The Glamourai) and Caroline Polachek and Patrick Wimberly of Brooklyn-based syntho-pop duo Chairlift, gathered to fete the launch.
Thorny Rose – a new take on wine that invites you to celebrate the pre(party) – debuted with an invite-only crowd who sipped the new varietals (Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Sauvignon Blanc and Red Blend), and enjoyed specialty bites, including sirloin and caramelized onion empanadas, lamb meatball sliders and custom bacon wrapped fig ‘Thorny’ roses.
Guests stayed tipsy and played custom Jenga games as they created personalized wrap wristbands. Event elements came to life in real time, including a mural featuring elements from the iconic Thorny Rose crest and custom screen-printed T-shirts featuring Thorny Rose lingo and imagery.
DJ/electric violin duo Mia Moretti and Caitlin Moe kept the hip crowd moving, while a special performance from Brooklyn-based band Chairlift closed out the evening.
