Miami, FL – On Wednesday afternoon, the day before Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim kicked-off in South Beach, designer Lisa Burke of Lisa Blue Swimwear held a tweet-up & mixer at The Shore Club to support The Australian Whale Conservation Society.
The next day, the Lisa Blue ‘Call of the Whale’ 2013 Swimwear collection hit the runway at the Raleigh Hotel to kick-off the weekend!
The AWCS, is a non-profit environmental organization based in Australia that raises awareness and understanding of whale conservation issues as they work towards bringing about change in the whaling community.
Lisa Blue donates 100% of the proceeds from the sale of a new bracelet she created and 25% of net profits from the sale of her swimwear line to the AWCS to help protect whales around the world.
Guests stayed tipsy with the ‘Whales Tale‘ cocktail as they mingled beachside in support of a great cause!
