LA Film Festival Closing Night Presented by Volkswagen

Los Angeles – On Sunday night, the stars came out for the World Premiere of Warner Bros. Pictures’ ‘MAGIC MIKE‘ at the closing night gala of the 2012 Los Angeles Film Festival sponsored by Volkswagen of America.

Channing Tatum accompanied by wife Jenna Dewan Tatum, Alex Pettyfer, Matthew McConaughey, Camila Alves, Cody Horn, Olivia Munn, Matt Bomer, Joe Manganiello, Kevin Nash, Adam Rodriguez, Director Steven Soderbergh, Chelsea Kane, Cheryl Burke, Sophia Bush and many more were among the celebrities who attended. Volkswagen was onsite with their 2012 VW Beetle designed just for the film festival and Passat models.

Celebrities and guests grabbed the Volkswagen Popcorn before heading to their seats for the start of Magic Mike. 

A dramatic comedy set in the world of male strippers, “Magic Mike” is directed by Academy Award winner Steven Soderbergh (“Traffic”) and stars Channing Tatum in the title role.   The film follows Mike as he takes a young dancer called ‘The Kid’ (Alex Pettyfer) under his wing and schools him in the fine arts of partying, picking up women, and making easy money.

After the premiere, everyone headed over to Club Nokia for the film after party, where the cast celebrated their film and the closing of the Los Angeles Film Festival. Guests partied throughout the night posing for photos in the Volkswagen photobooth and finished off their night with a blue fortune cookie with a special Volkswagen fortune.
