CALLE TACOS OPENS ON HOLLYWOOD BOULEVARD
LOS ANGELES, CA – Muse Lifestyle Group, the multi-faceted hospitality company, in collaboration with the Villaseñor family, is proud to announce the opening of Calle Tacos, a novel Mexican restaurant concept. Located in the heart of Hollywood, Calle Tacos puts a new spin on the traditional food truck, while providing fresh and authentic cuisine to locals and tourists who are looking for a little taste of Mexico in the big city.
Calle Tacos shares doors with Muse’s nightclub and flagship venue, Playhouse Nightclub. Inside the restaurant, patrons will find an actual taco truck permanently parked on Hollywood Boulevard, garage doors that open to the street and walls that showcase murals of pop culture’s most iconic people and places. The taco truck itself is located inside the restaurant, offering patrons a unique and inclement weather-proof means of enjoying their meals.
“Food truck culture is huge in L.A., and we were fortunate enough to find a permanent place to park on Hollywood Boulevard” says owner Javier Villaseñor. “Along with our partners at Muse Lifestyle Group, we know that Calle Tacos will be the go-to spot for some of the best Mexican food in LA, and we look forward to serving the Hollywood community in a fun, high energy environment”.
The menu at Calle Tacos features a variety of traditional Mexican fare including burritos, nachos, tortas, quesadillas and of course, tacos. Customers can choose from a selection of proteins, toppings, and sauces for a customized meal that will suit any taste.
The homemade salsas and secret family recipes came from owners’ roots, from their hometowns of Jalisco and Distrito Federal, Mexico. Each item is made under the watchful eye of husband and wife team, Dorian and Javier Villaseñor, who have been in business together for six years. The Villaseñors come from a long line of restaurateurs; with eleven brothers known as the Ortiz family, these siblings own and operate over 25 restaurants and share a passion for fresh, simple food with bold flavors. Muse Lifestyle Group and the Villaseñors are excited to celebrate these family traditions through Calle Tacos.
In a nod to Hollywood tradition as well as today’s musical stars, Calle Tacos will also feature its own miniature ‘star-walk’, dedicating stars to some of the most prominent music talent of today.
