New York – On Thursday night, Def Jam Records VP, Shawn “Pecas” Costner, hosted a GREY GOOSE Cherry Noir exclusive preview tasting and dinner with Chef Cynthia Sestito and friends at 632 Hudson.
The evening kicked off with a casual cocktail reception, where arriving guests nibbled on delectable tray-passed hors d’oeuvres and sipped on GREY GOOSE® Cherry Noir Midnight Highball cocktails. Following the cocktail hour, guests were prompted upstairs for dinner into the candle-lit dining area where Pecas formally welcomed guests and Chef Cynthia Sestito introduced the evening’s cherry-inspired menu. GREY GOOSE Master Mixologist, Nick Mautone, was also on hand, crafting delicious Cherry Noir cocktails to pair with menu selections and to introduce the inspiration behind his cocktail each time a pairing was served. A highlight of the evening included a surprise appearance by Jay-Z, who came by for dinner to support Pecas and his Def Jam colleagues. Jay-Z also made a specific request for the GREY GOOSE® Cherry Noir Midnight Highball to have with his meal. At the conclusion of the evening, Pecas raised a glass to his Chef Cynthia Sestito and guests, thanking GREY GOOSE and all of his friends who joined for the occasion, as well as reminding guests to share their thoughts about the experience at #cherrynoir.
Additional guests in attendance included DJ Khaled, Jessica White, Angie Martinez, Minya Oh, DJ Suss One, Larry Cerullo, and Steve Tallides to name a few, and they were tweeting up a storm!
