World Gin Day is around the corner! (6/8) It is a celebration that brings people from around the world together in the name of distilled juniper berries. What better way to celebrate this quickly approaching global holiday (whose origins stem from England) then with a few gin classics?

From your go-to martini that contains just the right amount of vermouth to gin spritz punches perfect for serving at your next party, these cocktails encompass all the things we love about gin and are sure to impress guests at outdoor brunches and backyard BBQs.

Below, check out some deliciously easy-to-create gin cocktails, perfect for World Gin Day and/or any warm weather festivities.

CLASSIC MARTINI

Classic Martini

1 ½ parts Bombay Sapphire

A whisper of Martini & Rossi vermouth

Method:  Chill chosen Martini Glass. Fill the glass half of the shaker with Ice, coat the inside of the glass shaker with vermouth, discard the ice and vermouth and refill with ice, pour in Bombay Sapphire holding the base of the glass shaker – stir – NEVER – shake until ice cold –  pour into a martini glass. Garnish with an olive or twist

G&T REIMAGINED

G&T Re-Imagined

1 ½ oz Bombay Sapphire East Gin

3 oz Fevertree tonic

Lime wedge OR different garnish (lemongrass, juniper, coriander, cassia bark, etc)

Method: Press lemongrass stem and lime wedge into base of glass. Fill with ice and build.

SAPPHIRE MULE

Sapphire Mule

1 part Bombay Sapphire

¼ part lime juice

4 parts Fever-Tree Ginger Beer

Method: Combine all ingredients and stir. Garnish with lime.

THE BOMBAY SNAPPER

The Bombay Snapper

1 ½ parts Bombay Sapphire East Gin

4 parts tomato juice

¼ parts lemon juice

¼ parts soy sauce

Small palm of diced lemongrass

Pea of wasabi

Pinch of sea salt

Pinch of white pepper

Method: Build with ice in a highball. Garnish with lemongrass.

AL FRESCO SPRITZ

Al Fresco Spritz

6 oz. Martini & Rossi bianco vermouth

3 oz. St Germain

2 oz. Bombay Sapphire

1 oz. lime juice

Method: Build and stir. Top with Perrier and Prosecco. Garnish withgreen grapes, lime wheels, kiwi wheels, starfruit, green apple slices, cucumber slices.

2 oz. Bombay Sapphire Gin

2 oz. Fresh Watermelon Juice

1 oz. Simple Syrup

1 oz. Soda

Method: Served in a couple or highball with ice (shaken or over ice)

THE SILK JOURNEY 

The Silk Journey


2 oz. Bombay Sapphire East Gin

0.75 oz. Fresh Lime Juice

0.5 oz. Pomegranate syrup

2 oz. Oolong and mandarin tea

Method: Shaken and served long over ice and topped with Ginger beer. Garnish with large orange zest and potentially either candied ginger or pomegranate seeds.
